Yes we should, I could list off the reasons why but they have been voiced before. People who kill others for there enjoyment should be killed in a swift way that cost very little to the government and tax payers. We already payed for there trial and jail time leading up to conviction. Anyone no matter what who hurts a child either by abuse (sexual) (Physical) all the above. Or any man or women who plans a death of more than 2 people should be killed. Housing them in prison for the rest of there life is to costly. As a survivor of sexual abuse myself I feel very strongly that the person who did this to me should have died. He took things from me that at 34 I am still trying to get back. Side: Yes

Have you ever heard the saying an eye for an eye will make the world blind? Men no longer fear death. The death penalty doesn't deter murderous acts as one would think it should. Men fear punishment over time. Solitary confinement is probably the most harmful form of torture one can install upon a subject. Imagine being confined in a small space rotting away in your mind. All you can do is think. Eventually thinking becomes boring. Once that happens then you are just out of luck. If we place men into solitary confinement I think violence will be deterred in a greater quantity in comparison to the death penalty. Side: No

You would be surprised on how many people who do horrid things to kids and people who are afraid to die, what is unbelievable to me, is how many of them believe in god. This alone will make death seem like the worst thing ever. On the other hand there are your true crazy's who would want to take the easy road out, those end up hanging themselves in there jail cell. Personally I want to know that the bastard that hurt me can not and will not be able to hurt anyone ever again. I am 110% for the death penalty. The only problem we have in this country is we don't use it enough... P.S the man that hurt me, is still out there. By the time I was able to speak out, it was too late. He was a coward. But 5 years of sexual abuse from him and he is still living.. Makes me sick! Side: Yes
