The coastal population began to sicken. At first they suffered strange rashes, nausea and malformed babies. Then, after the 2005 tsunami, hundreds of the dumped and leaking barrels washed up on shore. People began to suffer from radiation sickness, and more than 300 died. Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah, the UN envoy to Somalia, tells me: "Somebody is dumping nuclear material here. There is also lead, and heavy metals such as cadmium and mercury - you name it." They are attacking ships because they are theives trying to steal a bunch of goods for their own selfish benefits.

They don't have to attack ships to make money. There are alot of other more productive jobs they can do like farming.

They chose to hijack ships instead.

Let's just send a couple Apaches there & exterminate them.

It is our problem too. & if it's not then someone else needs to send a couple Apaches there & exterminate them.

Destroying them would save us money because they won't be stealing anymore ships.

Maybe they aren't planning on attacking us here but they have attacked dozens of ships some of which were ours. We can't let them get away with that.

They are the scum of this planet & should be wiped out. If they want to make money they can do alot of other stuff that is productive like farming.

These aren't coward terrorists who we don't have enough proof they are a threat, these are evil pirates who have done these things in the open & attacked us 1st.

Yes a couple Apache helicopters loaded with bullets, rockets, & missles are enough for the job. We aren't fighting a giant organized army we are fighting a bunch of punks with guns driving speed boats.

The only threat to the Apaches are their RPGs. Other than that they don't stand a chance.
