I agree with socialistic capitalism …. where the PEOPLE have control over how much they are ripped off, poisoned, protected from unsafe working conditions, get a fair wage (i.e. a fair share of the capitalistic profits from the work they do ;-), and a government of, by and for those people. Nice country to live in. :-)

Today we have a totally capitalistic monarchy …. how's that working? People can't even keep their jobs in government. Most are "temps", walk away after a few months … probably no one wants to hire them after they leave … nobody trusts ANYBODY, working conditions are terrible, morale is at it's lowest point, the "company" is no longer trusted …. ahhh, capitalism in government! Nice work, if you can stand it! ;-)

Socialism

Hello y:

Socialism, as an economic system doesn't work, never has worked, and never will work.. However, socialistic programs like Medicare and Social Security work exceedingly well within the framework of a capitalistic system. What doesn't work, is when right wingers confuse socialistic programs with the economic system, socialism..

I am a staunch capitalist who BELIEVES that people should HAVE a safety net. I am anything BUT a socialist.

I agree with free market with socialistic safety nets. Add in NATIONALISM/Tribalism and we are two pees in a pid
