First off, if you did not know that not believing in Christ would mean you are going to Hell, then this is how far political correctness has diluted the tenants of Christianity. The world today preaches that we can all get to heaven by just being supposedly "good", whether you are buddhist, Muslim, etc. etc.
Yes, anyone who does not believe in Christ, also means they reject him. I am not talking about people who may have never heard of Christianity, I'm talking to you and the millions who have heard about it a thousands of times. They have chosen not to believe and live their lives any way they see fit.
What you convienently miss when it comes to degrees of sin, is that you speak of murder as one of the worst sins (which I agree), and you would probably say is deserving of Hell, yet you are so blind to the fact that most non Christians are Pro choice and support killing innocent unborn babies when electing politicians keeping it legal.
Do you think God looks at that any differently than a murderer who might kill a one year old baby?
God looks at sin as a condition of human nature. Whether God punishes murderers more in Hell, than other people, who knows. I'm sure God hates certain sins more than others, but when it comes to salvation from Hell, it is based on believing in and calling Christ your Lord. His death on the cross covers any sin you may have ever committed. It matters not what you did in the past.
If a Gay person becomes a Christian, he may still have attractions to the same sex, he may not, but regardless, he has accepted Christ as his Lord and will do his very best to never give into whatever temptations he may have.
You suggested that God made Gays to have attractions for other men? That's not true. There are thousands of different fetishes, sexual attractions, temptations of the flesh, etc. and to say God made them that way is false. Mankind without God is a fallen creature with natures to sin when left to their own desires.
No one knows why each person has certain attractions when it comes to whatever sin we might be dealing with, we are all different.
But God says he gives us the strength to overcome sinful desires, and keeping us from acting on them.
All people who reject Crist end up in Hell, not just Gays, It has nothing to do with any particular sin. How much more clearly can I explain it?
No one is trying to force you to live as Christians!!!! If you want to be gay and live that lifestyle, it is none of my business.
What we are saying is to stop trying to force Christians to sanction what we believe is a sin. It is terrible to try and force a Christian to become part of what he considers a sin, such as a Gay wedding reception, etc.
Stop trying to force every State to change their marriage laws just because some activists want it.
If the majority in a State decided to change their marriage laws, it is their right to do so. But when a couple activist Judges overrule entire States and force their political correct beliefs on us all, that is when we will fight back every step of the way. We have a right to our faith and our beliefs, and to the values uplifted in our States, no matter what your beliefs are.
We would never try and force a Gay owned family business to cater a Christian wedding if he did not want to do so!
It's all about freedom to disagree and the freedom to say no.
