Sweden and Denmark's personal tax rates

The Democrats are in love with Europe and Socialism but are Democrats aware of the tax rates in the European countries that they love.
Let's take a look at Sweden and Denmark !

The Personal Income Tax Rate in Sweden stands at 57 percent. Personal Income Tax Rate in Sweden averaged 56.28 percent from 1995 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 61.40 percent in 1996 and a record low of 51.50 percent in 2000. Personal Income Tax Rate in Sweden is reported by the Skatteverket.

The Personal Income Tax Rate in Denmark stands at 55.80 percent. Personal Income Tax Rate in Denmark averaged 61.12 percent from 1995 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 65.90 percent in 1997 and a record low of 55.40 percent in 2010. Personal Income Tax Rate in Denmark is reported by the Danish Central Tax Administration.

What is to like and love about a personal tax rate at 50 plus percent of one's income ?  Is that how Democratic Socialism works that the state takes half of your income ? If Democrats love Europe and Democratic Socialism then why don't they move to either of those 2 countries ?

How long would the Democrats in America stand for 50 percent of their income being taken from them !

Wow, this is your smartest debate. Good job. Might be too little too late though.

Your Democrat buddies are avoiding truth and reasoning behind that is ?

That's true, and their opponents 99% of the time use worse reasoning lately.

Look at any study that attempts to measure Sweden and Denmark in terms of happiness and you will find that they are among the happiest in the world. Other countries should be studying them to see why that is.

Part of it is that it isn't run by American politicians. So, transforming America into that model won't work.

So you are willing to give up half of your income to a government ?

Money is not the most important factor in someones happiness, so yes. Of course if I don't earn enough to be happy then the state supplements my wage anyway.
