I have been studying facebook from a sociological stance for some time now ( the best I can, I'm not Professor X for fucks sake ) and the way social media in general is affecting society wholescale, afterall 78% of americans have a social media account and text is the most common form of communication. We are becoming less about physical and vocal interaction, but studies show we are communicating more than ever before. When in times past could we be a part of eachothers daily lives despite the distance between us. Facebook is like the extreme version of pen/phone pals, or for many, having hundreds of friends yet feeling more alone than ever. Is it a hidden scource of depression and anger or has it made us more empathetic to eachothers plights? Or even looking at the internet as a whole, we are swimming in a sea of knowledge of everything, yet entertainment and porn are the most viewed...and here we go!!! Getting started!!! Are we more intelligent now as a species with this abundance of knowledge? Is it giving us wisdom? Are we growing spiritually or is it making our diversity just more apparent and causing more chaos (i.e. the 2017 election) There is a sociological reason for the "age of offense" and I think it might be based in a countrywide tit-for-tat game, each side constantly exploiting the others hipocracy while google "enhances" their searches to provide further bias confirmation. Is google becoming a sub-consciencely controlling A. I. system? Combine that with Road Rage/Troll Psychology through social media and we can see how quickly society can breakdown by simple influences. So here's the tip of the iceburg, and we haven't even gotten into the good VR and biomechanics stuff yet!

Can technology overcome our human nature? Give us the ability to learn and empathize via usb slot to the brain ( instant love and understanding ) or will it create further elimination of the middle class with the powers that be controlling the population through subtle manipulation and opening doors to satisfy every urge imaginable by mankind through VR. We can see this today in how prolific porn is in the internet, becoming more and more diverse every year, and I don't believe I even have to get into the amount of video games that are about killing for you to see where I"m going,. All inhibitions and social norms will slowly deteriorate and concepts of family/friend structure could dissolve completely. Remember, it was only 100 years ago that people highly relied on eachother physically and mentally to thrive whole scale. Now society can thrive without even leaving their houses, and eventually even agriculture, mining, lumber, and the production thereof being run by robotic machines ( self-replicating ). Is technology slowly replacing community?

Are empathy and self-love the answers to peace on earth? If computer data drives were able to work parts of our brain and actually input information this would not be an impossible feat. My concept is kind of like when Leloo in the movie "5th Element" would scan vast amounts of data to learn everything about a subject; only when it showed her war and ruined everything, it would have also showed her love with it. No longer just seeing the black and white, but the whole grey scale and all the beautiful colors inbetween. With self-love we would only do that which was beneficial to ourselves, mentally, spiritually, and physically. With empathy we would understand every human beings situation and never feel condemnation toward our brothers. Similar to the movie Avatar, "I see you" would not be mere words. We would see, feel, and understand everyone and their situation as well as ourselves. Slowly eliminating the darkness through computer-brain function training...similar to techniques used by monks in meditation, which focus the energy in their brains into specific emotional regions - giving them forward movement to the peace they are trying to achieve. Literally working-out the compassion and love centers of our brain. It has been proven through neropeptide research that our brains get trapped in literal boxes ( actually more like a energy clusters ) We have a hard time thinking out of the box because we actually become addicted to certain emotions and thoughts unawares. This would force us to confront the box head on , and change it manually.

If someone came up to you today and said, with one small touch I can let you see the other angles of a grudge you have been holding, be it personal or societal, and you will be gifted complete wisdom in that subject and the grudge will be no more, would people do it????? Do people really want to confront themselves head on with facts as the answers instead of opinion. Would they rush to it, freeing themselves of their hate, or would they run from it and possibly attack it, as they have always seemed to do before with others past attempts at achieving peace. I would hope that through technology, we could launch our minds past that brink....the one that no one can ever seem to reach other than past messiahs ( please religious dont yell at me ) which leave us in a state of faith. Maybe space alone is not the answer....we need another kind of rocket too. Force via technology would have nothing to do with faith ( other than the trust of the people in power of it, see why this is so important)...Fact, Data, Knowledge, and I can only pray Wisdom would follow. Eliminating negative manually in our brains DOS with nano technology. By force I mean ourselves willingly choosing this route, not government force, which is not impossible, and very scary....hold on we are not going there. This is our free choice to force our brains to co-operate with nothing but fact.

I try to answer most all problems in my life through logic, so of course this idea seems 100% logical to me. Can it work physically?....mentally?.....where are the hitches? Would it harm our brain and our body would reject it, causing possible damage? Would it become a self-replicating cybernetic virus that would destroy mankind? ......this is where you come in people....this is how things get started....I'm only one little limited mind here. We as people do love to negativity, sin whatever you want to call it.....I wallow in it sometimes for fun. Would I give it up completely for the cause? Yes - but I'd need others with me , a large portion of the population, so it wouldn't be all alone with love and want to commit suicide to escape the duality. Would suicide still exist?.......Exciting things would still exist!!! Jumping out of a plane would still be intense, rollercoasters would still be fun, vacations would still be relaxing and adventure filled. Sexual relationships, and family would still exist; we would just govern our decisions with love and understanding as the priority instead of ego or pride. Governmental laws and issues would be handled by weighing only factual research and studies, finding the truth on what works best to accommodate the population...many will find out they are wrong about things they held true, but with the letting go of the ego and only desiring self love, we would come to terms with our flaws. The fear of lying would be obsolete cause everyone knows that hiding from yourself and others only blocks personal growth. Death would still exist and the sadness of it would not be eliminated, but we would have peace in all of it....I don't know this is getting too big for me and I need to make dinner.

This shit is not beyond the realm of possibility, correct? WHICH MEANS it is in the realm of possibility. This level of technological advancement is happening whether we like it or not, this is not a conspiracy theory, and I can only pray the right research is being done by the right people. Can this "Eden of Understanding" be the answer we've all been searching for? SKYNET if you are reading this right now, please give me some credit for this, whether it be mankind's digital savior, or angel of death. I SWEAR TO GOD, GET ME IN FRONT IF THE RIGHT FUCKIN PEOPLE AND I'LL CHANGE THE FUCKIN WORLD!!!!

Hey, I've been there. True story... decades ago I had a quiet night time concierge job which allowed me hours and hours to read and think and write. Over time I'd built a massive collection of musings I thought was gold. And then I moved on to another job and stopped for a while. By the time I came back and read what I wrote I recognized it as ramblings I really didn't want anyone else to ever read. I ended up destroying it.
