There's an argument on both sides: First of all, I don't want to pay for someone's reckless behavior; they can still get abortions- at their own expense. Secondly, if they have the kids, that will be another welfare recipient and another minion of the liberal persuasion on lifetime dole. 1

I am a Pro Choice Christian, so take that! Did you know that neither the Bible, nor Yahweh, nor Jesus ever said anything against abortion in the Bible? Do you even know what some Christians think it does? From that one little insignificant line in Genesis where God says to "go forth and be fruitful and multiply." That's it! Nothing else. Even the Catholic Church has admitted this is not sufficient evidence to claim God is against abortion. And Jesus probably would have been Pro Choice too, since he believed in women's rights and equality. The world HAS been fruitful and multiplied far more than I think anybody back in the Bronze Age could have known! To the tune of we now have 7 Billion Souls on the planet! And the bible is the wrong place to go for rules that apply today anyway. At least the Old Testament. According to it, in Numbers and Deuteronomy and Leviticus there are rules that condone slavery and say its OK to kill a woman accused of adultery and its OK to murder unruly children. Better paying for abortions than keeping the brats on welfare for the rest of, what would be, their useless lives. As a direct consequence of uncontrolled mass immigration and ''welfareism'' the United States is sinking fast. If the population of unwanted babies being born into poverty can be reduced then this is one expense the hard pressed taxpayer won't have to meet. 1

Oh no, no, no. The first mistake in your family was when Mr. Within snr, said to Mrs Within; do you fancy going to bed early tonight my dear, wink wink, nod nod, nudge nudge, know what I mean, know what I mean? Then 9 months later you popped out, yuk, what a slimy mess you must have been. The 2nd mistake was your ma not having you aborted about 8.5 months into the pregnancy. Abortions carried out within the time limits and parameters of the law, no problem. Controlled immigration, as practised in Australia where only those with the skills and professions needed to support the economy are considered for entry, no problem. The conservative "holy thoughts" that life, and its rights, begin at conception, doesn't fly with their "holier than thou" attitude because those "rights" END when the baby leaves the birth canal! They want NOTHING to do with the expense of another being if it doesn't , or can't, PAY for its health care, food and clothing! THEY JUST WANT IT BORN! After that it's someone else's problem! Liberals, on the other hand, want to see that this "thing" has a chance at LIFE, not just a chance to be BORN! I, as an American, don't mind helping others less fortunate. For sure, I want to keep this to a minimum, everyone does, but I'm not leaving a baby helpless after birth because I care about PEOPLE more than money! That's why I could never be a conservative. They are to cruel, greedy, and definitely un-Christ like! Can you say .... "hypocritical"......?? It's ironic that conservatives are always so afraid that they're being taxed to death and the purposes for those taxes are all miserable failures of programs, yet they're also horrified that alleged taxpayer funded abortions are actually extremely effective and causing millions of babies to be tossed. It's bad enough they even support aborting viable late term babies all the way up to birth, but these extremist Democrats even support killing viable babies born alive from botched late term abortions. But that was not enough! They had to rub our noses in their inhumanity and force us all to pay for it. BARBARIC! They don't though. Killing babies after botched abortions has been illegal for years and it is because the Democrats helped pass it. You are referring to a law that was introduced to ban something that is already banned. There is no reason to support adding a law that already exists. Well, yes. There are a few "extremist" Democrats, just like there are MANY "extremist conservatives. However, the extremist horrors you are trying to sell about the Democratic Party come (pun intended), FromWhithin and NOT from fact. That nastiness is about a very small segment of left wing crazies. I have shown numerous times how the vast majority of Democrats (177 out of 182) support allowing a Baby born alive from a late term abortion to die rather than forcing the clinic to immediately take the Baby to a hospital to save it's life. |
