Teachers should be reviewed annually by their students

Yes, that would be very useful. This allows teachers to improve the needs of learners and therefore the lessons more fun and more clearly.

It could be very helpful for teachers to get anonymous feedback on how they've done. Of course some students will abuse it and write bullshit because they don't like a particular teacher, but teachers are (or ought to be) well-equipped to distinguish between the genuine feedback and the trolls.

agreed, not that it should have an effect upon your reputation, but having the reviews may open up thier perspective and learn on criticism. I know some teachers at my school who do that, not have them write reviews (only one did that, and I think they had to) but a survey about thier experience in thier class. I think they should do both because the review is coming from the students and may strictly be thier point of view and may just be hateful of the teacher like someone above has said or etc, but a few kids may go at it more openmindedly about the class weighing the perspectives against each other, and coming up with a rational opinion. while survey doesn't allow you to write down your feelings for the class in a detailed manner, it does allow the teacher to get some answers without the studensts saying "it was to cold!" or "I hate math!" or "I don't need school, i can do this on my own!" or less extreme "I don't like the way you did your tests" and Iv seen a good portion of students at school that seem to think like that (mostly in the struggling part of school).

Yes definitely. This way, a student can give a teacher anonymous feedback on what they like or dislike about the teacher, which will hopefully improve the way a teacher does things in the following years. I think it would be very useful. The teacher can also see how a student feels about them/their teaching.

Side: For

I think this is a good idea, however. the teachers who receive a bad grade may take it out on the students.

No,as it depends on the students too.I mean,if a lot of people hate a teacher just because of a punishment that they deserved, does that mean that the students has rights to 'overthrow' the teacher? It would be unfair as lots of students nowadays are looking for freedom and are upright lazy due to advanced technology.
