Students might have a better understanding if classes were smaller. Teacher could get around and help students better if there aren’t as many students in a class.

I very much support this! Thanks! I am currently writing a reasearch paper on this topic for my education classes for my teaching degree.

It really depends on what grade the students are in, as well as the level of difficulty the course in itself is.

You could group up a massive amount of AP students and not have a problem with the class, however you drop down to the level of Liberal Arts and the level of devotion to the course begins to drop like a rock. Where students are all on the drop out course and really care nothing about anything other than whose party was the sickest the previous weekend, and or whose will be the sickest this coming weekend.

I support this to! What I am looking at is the core class sizes. Even though I am going for Music Education so it would be normal for me to have 60 high school students in one class.

A class size of 30-40 students presents a maze to a teacher. A class size no more than 20 students should be the norm.

People need to stop putting all the focus on the teachers, ask what needs to be improved of the students? There are simple problems like bad eyesight, ADD is blowing up, the education system hasn't been reformed in centuries, the teaching class size are going to keep increasing if the teacher job isn't made more lucrative with higher wages. Otherwise with the rapidly increasing population those classes are just gonna get bigger and bigger.
