Who can deny the robust role and range of technology that we experience in our every day life. If we care to look at the scintillating side of technology, we find space technology and its applications provide useful data for natural disaster monitoring, solving environment problems, improve telecommunications and provide other basic services. Through fax, e-Mail and the Internet, information technology has outstripped all barriers that time and space had placed in man’s search for instant information. Though electronic information is hard to control, yet the individual newsgatherer is visible and vulnerable. Side: BOON

Before technology people died in their mid twenties, They had lost all their teeth by their late teens they smelled they were sick they died of weird and painful diseases there was little joy, their whole life consisted of finding food, eating, sleeping, finding food, eating sleeping, finding food... there was no art, no entertainment, no self-betterment, no self-improvement, very little thought at all in fact. While technology has always come at a price, it's a price well worth paying, and I would submit any who claims "technology causes more problems than it solves" has not thought the question through very thoroughly Side: BOON

Technology is more of boon than bane to society that there are many types of technology like information technology,Bio technology and medical technology. one of the most influential technology is medical technology.this is the application of science and technology to improve the management of health. Because of this technology we are finding so many diseases and giving good treatment.Medical technology plays virtual role in allowing people to remain valuable and contributing members of the society. so i am saying that technology is bane to our society. Some people consider technology bane because it is making people lazy. Kids that used to go outside and play stay in and play video games and go on the computer all day. People tend to forget how to do things for themselves, even using a calculator just to do simple math that you could easily write down and figure out. Instead of exercising our minds we just use a calculator. While technology is great and helpful and a HUGE part of modern society if one day it failed, we'd go into chaos. No bank, no super information highway, no radio, no computer, no telephone, our missiles and dangerous things like that would be compromised. If you haven't, watch the movie Wall-E. In there you will see how they portray how the future of people might behave if we all had such sophisticated technology we'd grow fat and ride around in chairs. Hope that helps a bit and sparks some ideas of your own on how technology can be bane.Schools have started introducing the idea of using tablets for taking down notes, writing simple tests and completing their projects. This gets the mind of a student completely in technology and they tend to forget the use of books. Earlier students did not have the idea of using internet to browse information about different topics and were dependent completely on books which resulted in a very good vocabulary, but students these days do not have much of a good vocabulary. They start to expect everything just by a touch on the screen. The students finish their work just for the sake of it and actually don't show any interest in it. Technology is good enough provided it is used in the right field and in the right age. Side: BANE
