I do not wish to create controversy amongst my allies or those with whom I consider to have fairly close relations, but I must say that for my entire life I have considered the Germans to be the stoutest, strongest, smartest people in the world. They fought two world wars, conquered most of the Western World several times; they conquered Rome; they were influencial in modern fields of philosophy and psychology; they are geniuses. Hitler could have won if he had not made one mistake: killing Jews, homosexuals, etc. Had he deported them and left it at that, he may have managed to hold the Third Reich together much longer. What have the French done for us? Given us disgusting modern art. What have the Italians done? Architecture. The English? The English language. But before all of them, there were the Germans. Well I agree with some stuff you say BUT the reason the Reich fell apart after invading Russia. Hitler and the famous Frenchman Napoleon made the same mistake of invading Russia during winter! This is the reason of Germany losing the war. Hitler did in fact try deportation first he deported aprox. 1 Million jews to Madagascar I have no clue why there but it was to much and then the camps started. Side: Superior

Yes, I knew of Russia. My great uncle fought there. My great grandfather was in Africa, other relations were all over the world fighting for Germany. One was even SS, he was murdered after WWII. I agree that Russia was partly responsible, but I believe it was a multitude of factors including his extermination camps. What are your personal beliefs, Sulith? Are you German by birth or choice? Are you a Neo-Nazi? Do you agree with extermination of 'inferior' races? Most of these arguments are guided by a profound hatred of the Germans, probably left-over hatred from WWII, that is why I have always attempted to avoid that topic and study Germans in the preceeding milleniums. I strongly believe that the term "Aryan race/Ubermensch/Master race" has been the recipient of negative abuse, subsequent of Adolf Hitler's use of the concept and term. His concept of "Aryan" was distorted, and was used for selfish motives, ie: his leadership of the Third Reich. "Aryan" is a remarkable race, with many accomplishments to its name. They are dynamic warriors, and ussually intelligent. But because Ubermensch is associated with Hitler, it has become offensive, and a subject which many IGNORANT people speak their minds upon, without knowing exactly what they argue about. The Aryan race has its faults, as do other races. Each has contributed to society - therefore there is no SUPERIOR race, there are just many differently talented races. The simple fact that the Aryan race has always been seen as an accomplished race is the result of its popularity among dictators and racist authors. Aryans should not be criticised or looked down upon because they are the ancestors of those who have wronged the definition of Ubermensch. It is the right of an Aryan to wish not to interbreed, but the Aryan may interbreed if he/she pleases! This idea applies equally to other races. It is disappointing that this generation does not attempt to fully understand the subject, and that many do not take a FAIR point of view. Please. Understand your opinion, how it affects others, and whether it is entirely logical. What would you say if I said the African race is superior? I don't believe that they are superior or inferior. I hate to mention it but they lost both of those world wars. They only conquered western Europe because of Chamberlains appeasements. The French have given us... nothing except wars The Italians were Hitler's ally and they gave us pasta and good food. The English are here to back us up as they are an important ally. Side: Inferior
Well, in fareness I agree that Germany seems to be pretty good at taking stuff over historically, espcially considering they are a landlocked nation. But your, and the commenter with the Swastica avatar's disection of the reason they lost seems to be off. 1. There was proof Hitler was mentally insane, and it was beginning to take him toward the end of the war. As he had a standing order that no action was to be taken without his order, they lost some key battles in Russia while he was sleeping for sometimes up to 24hrs straight. So under those circumstances it would have been a matter of time before the whole thing fell apart. 2. Yeah, invading Russia has proven to be a bad idea time and time again, but pretend Germany had somehow taken Russia, the US still had a shit load of big bombs. Ama_Deviant: I have spent the better part of the last decade reading about and observing these cultures; I did not wish to exclude any of them. Historically speaking, you are off (don't forget that in the next line, Sulith wrote "The German Race.") The Germans, when they destroyed the Roman Empire, migrated all over Eurasia and North Africa. Just about every European is of some Germanic ancestry. I agree that nearly every peoples have made great advances in their chosen fields; it is simply that my preferred fields (classical artwork, psychology, modern philosophy, mythology) are all very much German fields. Johann Wolfgang van Goethe was a very talented writer, said by some to have been the smartest man to have ever lived with an IQ estimated at 200 (can't recall where I heard that, so don't quote me). Hans Holbein, and a few Norse and Russians artists did amazing works, better than modern version of a masterpiece (i.e. three squares of varying shapes and sizes). I enjoy the cultures of every peoples, and once seriously considered becoming an anthropologist. If I could spend several years of my life living amongst each culture, I would do it; but reality says that I can't. Had the debate said 'The Arab Race,' I would have put superior and gave my reasons, same with just about any other race. Side: Superior

I know I can easily defeat any arguments or 'evidence' that Aryans (if an actual race) are German. Since they are not Germans then who are they? And what is it that makes them superior. Personally, I find people of the Aryan race superior. Wow, did I just say that? Yes I did. Why? Well simple... I am of the Aryan race and I have found that I am most attracted to blondes and I love blue eyes and green eyes. I'm not like the Nazis; I don't want to exterminate all other races. However, my personal preference in women is similar to how I look. And I think this goes for a lot of people. How often you you see interracial couples as compared to one-race couples? I think it's human nature to want to stay within your clan or tribe, like in prehistoric times. Side: Superior
While the last sentence is 100% correct whether you knew it or not, clan mentality is human nature according to Anthropolgy Annual Addition 2003 here on my desk. I think that "most" people are actually attracted to those who do not look similar to them. Everyone is different of course but if you are talking percentage wise... Either way though, I think that it is a bit silly to believe that one race is superior to another, since the reality is humans are all one race, The last race to exist beside us were Neandrathals, and they're dead. As much as I hate to break up make believe time: There is only one race of humans, we just have different color fur like tomcats or something. A tomcat is still a tomcat. The fact is put 99% in the exact same position from birth, and they will all grow up to act, learn, know, etc, just about the same as anyone else would The whole "race" thing is just societal or silly pretend time "I want to fit in with someone" bs. It's not really that it's inferior, but it's not all cracked up as one would try to convince you. In fact, one of Hitler's top Eugenics Scientists (a harsh man indeed) said that the extermination of Jews was to protect the Aryan Race. One of the reasons the Germans were against the Jews is for the Hate Crimes that were on German foreigners in Poland and other eastern countries Germans populated between the time of WWI and WWII. Many Germans were slaughtered in towns throughout Poland by Russian Generals/Officers/ETC. That were JEWISH! Since I am not on my home computer I cannot link proof but I will ASAP. I don't believe they are either superior or inferior, but since the superior side has more points, I'm posting for the underdog. To clarify, the aryan race doesn't describe germans. Aryan is defined as fair-featured (blond hair, blue eyed) which I assure you many germans are not. Many non-germanic peoples are aryan (Czechs, slovaks, poles, russians), and conversly non-german, germanic people (the dutch etc..). My mom is aryan, and she's a czech. (I guess my dad's genes were too powerful [yes I said that]). So in summation, you were referring to germans obviously, but said aryan (the aryan that hitler spoke of, but was himself not even a member). It is ludicrous to say that any people are superior or inferior. All races have their gifts and talents. You have white people, black people, brown people, indigenous people and asian people. All races are of benefit to themselves and others. Some are mechanically inclined, some are creatively inclined, some are inclined towards nature, some are inclined towards spirituality and the same is true for psychology. These are simply guidlines as any person can be born to any race, but race mentality and genetics plays a substantial role in development. Terminator, white people have Da Vinci, the 69 psychology, many technical sciences etc.., asians have confucious, the hijuuhattec, psychology, many technical and natural sciences etc.., brown people (eastern people between europe and asia) have Akhenaten, the kama sutra, spiritual philosophy and psychology, and many spiritual sciences, indigenous peoples have Tatanka Yotanka, (...not sure about their sexcapades but they probably had some pretty raunchy sex anyway), unparalleled natural sciences, and very deep psychological study, and black people have M.L.K, "once you go black, you never go back", and creative and magical sciences (music and voodoo for example). (The "Superior" tag does not convey my view correctly. Please disregard it) Your argument is undeniably fair and well reasoned, and I agree that no race is inferior or superior, Ama_Deviant. But your post script is not. It contradicts and unbalances your entire argument. Given the chance, any race could be expansionist, cruel, war-mongering, self-righteous and elitist. There is simply the fact that "the white people" (as if you believe this race to be alien) advanced more rapidly as a result of difficult conditions. I am white and this is ridiculous, black people are faster and quicker than white people. Don't live in denial about it. Having said that the UFC proved that black people are not tougher fighters than whites (i'd say equal). In boxing they own us but the UFC proves that's not the case in a street fight Side: Inferior
