I love wolverine I really do, but you need to see this. http://www.2gb-hosting.com/v/ They have fought multiple times before and Wolverine always loses, claws and all. he's is awesome, he is indestructable, but so is hulk, so in the end it comes down not to who can last longer but to who's stronger, and hulk doesn't stop getting stronger. Hulk doesn't get tired if someone is making him angry, and Wolverine's temper means that he would continue to make Hulk angry. Hulk only gets stronger as he gets angrier, and his strength literally has no limit. Quite a few of the avengers are far more powerful than anyone of the x-men(iron man, hulk, Thor) While rogue can take anyones powers, one of the avengers(such as iron man), could just take her out long range. Also Xavier and Jean Grey can not use their powers on the hulk, as he would be uncontrollable, and trying might knock them unconscious. Side: The Avengers

Wolverine is on the Avengers too, has been for several years. You won't see him in the movies due to movie rights issues, but in the comics he has emerged as one of their more prominent members, while still standing as a leading X-Man. As far as Iceman, he's cool and all. But Thor trumps him in my opinion. Side: The Avengers
As far as I can tell we are not discussing what is the better movie but which is the better team and in this respect the X-men are far superior. They have Rouge, a Women who can take the power of anyone including any of those fantastic Avengers and also Xavier and Jean Grey two very powerful beings. Jean Grey is one of the most powerful Mutants in the universe and as a result gives a lot more to team in terms of awesomeness and power. Side: The X Men

Captain America is not a group though. I'm talking about how The Avengers is a group of Superheros and so is the Xmen. And the Xmen movies has a certain style to it that I haven't seen in other movies before it. I've seen Captain America and it's not the same style. Side: The Avengers
There is a lot of cross over in the Marvel Universe and a lot of the X Men have been members of The Avengers and vice versa the result of this debate hangs on which team of X Men versus which team of Avengers. If its the movies my money would be on the X Men though Side: The X Men
