The other day I was watching VH1's 100 greatest artist and found out that they put The Beatles in front of Michael Jackson. Both are really good artist and I don't think one should go before the other, but some people do. What side are you on?

The Beatles definitely beat MJ. I do love him, but the Beatles have so much more variation. You get your pop 60's songs, a small bit of blues, classic rock, and psychedelic. Plus, they are so musically talented. John and Paul were the ultimate song-writing duo! Side: the beatles

Actually, The Beatles were the only group that was discovered by fans and THEN the record industry. Unlike the Jackson 5 or Michael Jackson, who came to the music industry and the music industry then "pushed the product; The Beatles had a fan base that was large enough that someone from the music industry (Brian Epstein) went to THEM to find out what was so good about them. Both were legendary, but Michael was born an entertainer. He began his career as a child, he learned to dance by himself, he wrote songs, sang songs, wrote music, choreographed dances, starred in movies, wrote poems, painted, drew, and he was an amazing person. He was a philanthropist, he raised awareness, saved cancer patients, and so much more. He wrote iconic songs that raised awareness such as We Are the World. He was born with an amazing voice and incredible ability to dance. He is original, a fashion icon, a trendsetter. HE IS AMAZING. Side: Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson by far because he is the King Of Pop had over 750 million albums sold worldwide and still going up. He inspired a lot of artist today. Paul himself called Michael "massive talented" , because he really had many talents. He was more original, had his own singing,dancing and dressing style (his OWN)..invented the robot dance and the beatbox, had 4 octaves vocal range, and sang from 6-50 years old! No contest. The Beatle's creativity, originality and performing talent eclipsed all other pop entertainers, ( even Elvis,TEMPORARILY) who were on the scene at the same time as this outstanding group.
