The two parties are similar, and due to the electoral system and cost of running for political office much of America finds itself unrepresented. The candidates are filtered by the corporations and upper class that donate to the super PACs and pay for media coverage. In the end, you have nothing but overly educated pedicured tools running for office that can't critically think. Its no surprise they tend to not do what is in the best interest of the people, nor to really represent them. A more direct system would be much better,or at least one that uses delegates instead of representatives and where the delegates are controlled by smaller areas. Perhaps a formula can be created that divides the country based on population density, I already have a couple ideas for one. Side: agree
