That is a well constructed and accurate account of the human race that undoubtedly took the author more than a little time compiling. As anticipated however, the scribe exposed his/her predictable weakness by omitting to include their realistic suggestions to cure all the character weaknesses they so painstakingly catalogued in such an interestingly descriptive manner. Presenting a problem, or series of problems without accompanying amendatory advice weakens the impact of the article. Side: Agree
@Antrim That is a well constructed and accurate account of the human race that undoubtedly took the author more than a little time compiling It took me 5 minutes or so. I was also busy smoking weed in my traditional wake and bake ritual and making my first morning coffee while I typed it. As anticipated however, the scribe exposed his/her predictable weakness by omitting to include their realistic suggestions to cure all the character weaknesses they so painstakingly catalogued in such an interestingly descriptive manner. I have already posted solutions and suggestions on this site, but as I described in the debate description they for the most part receive minimal acknowledgement from the bickering partisan hacks that have infested this site. I have spoken about the Resource Based Economy and how humans can overcome their superstitious nature as I have but this site is filled with the smaller sub-topics that distract the common fool from the bigger picture and the farcical nature of arguing about these things without addressing the root cause of all problems within economics and politics, which is the very systems of economics and politics themselves. Presenting a problem, or series of problems without accompanying amendatory advice weakens the impact of the article. If I where to describe what humanity should do I doubt anyone would even read it, nevermind put it into practice. Rants like this can get peoples attention but the second I attempt to make a real impact on anyone's mind they will default to their prior deeply ingrained programming and yell at me to get back in the matrix and stop spouting this "reality" nonsense. Well, assuming that what you say is true, I salute you. I wouldn't insult your intelligence by trying to patronize you, but I was genuinely impressed with the message in your analysis of humankind. Maybe I'm a defeatist, but I doubt if there is a solution to the self destructive, death wish of the human race. In what could be described as a lowly starting point I long for the day when a determined global initiative commences to rid the world of plastics and the catastrophic results its use, in all its forms, has on the environment and all life on earth. In terms of global political influence the petrochemical/plastic industry is a superpower in its own right. However, whilst one feels dwarfed against such a formidable adversary we should remember the message in the David and Goliath story and remember that a ''small man can cast a long shadow''.
