The Implications Of Quantum Time Experiments

As many of you know, I recently linked a story in which scientists successfully used a quantum computer to reverse the thermodynamic arrow of time.

I want us to explore the profound ramifications of this type of experiment.

We already know from studying quantum entanglement that particles can be "programmed" with data. Hence, what we could ultimately discover -- if it is even possible -- is a method of sending information back into the past.

What are your thoughts? Do you believe sending information to the past is possible?

it was stimulated. It was not an actual Quantum Time Experiment.

It was not "stimulated", the article never says it was "stimulated", and I have explained several times already what the experiment was about. Bad spelling I will forgive. Not reading the content of the debate you are engaging in I will not forgive. An experiment to "stimulate" the reversal of time is not an experiment in the first place. Countless computer programs do this already.

Get out. You're an idiot.

There was no "time experiment" and certainly the got nowhere close to sending informaiton backward in time. These physicists reversed the evolution of a very simple isolated quantum system. The classical mechanics analogy for this would be bouncing an ideal ball off an ideal wall (no air e.t.c.) perpendicular to the ball's speed, i.e. reversing its speed - and then saying that the ball is now travelling backward in time.

Guess what, moron? Isolated quantum systems still experience time. Hence, your second sentence has absolutely no relationship to your first sentence.

There is no "classical mechanics" analogy for quantum mechanics you ridiculously stupid bastard. They are two different scientific theories with two different sets of scientific rules. Furthermore, troglodyte, bouncing balls off walls also involves time, so your first sentence is still wrong.

You are just such a pointlessly stupid idiot. Fuck off and don't come back. Ever.

There was no "time experiment"

You are a fucking idiot. You are literally so fucking stupid that you spent four days pretending to understand maths and then finished with an equation which fucking contradicts itself. Get out of my thread you know-nothing retard.

There was no "time experiment"

So you mean these physicists just imagined it?

Oh look. There was a time experiment and you are simply a moron.

If you think that's funny just wait until he tries to convince you that t = -t1.

As everyone now knows you pissed yourself with excitement saying scientists had invented a time machine

You pointless liar. If you have a problem with the wording the article used -- i.e. "time machine" -- or the fact that it appeared in four separate British nationals, I advise you to write to whichever of the scientists gave these journalists the quote.

In the meantime, get your stupid, lying ass out of my debate.

Damn, that was funny, I almost pissed myself watching Burritto piss himself.

It is important to know that the Filth's pretentious and hysterical rants on subjects about which he knows nothing is all a juvenile ploy to be identified as some sort of scientific genius.

Get out you waste of time. Just because you have nothing intelligent to say does not mean I am (or think I am) a scientific genius. Why do you write such pointlessly stupid fucking comments?

This was nothing more than a simulation of what would happen "IF" time went backwards

It was not a simulation you pathetically ignorant little retard. You are making stupid comments like an idiot without even reading what the story says:-

Researchers from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology teamed up with colleagues from the U.S. and Switzerland and returned the state of a quantum computer a fraction of a second into the past.

It was not a simulation

Sure it was. And, I did read that and also read the research paper, which you didn't do for obvious reasons.
