The benevolent creator of the universe
Do you believe a god created everything in this universe? Do you believe that god is benevolent and cares deeply for us?
If you answered yes to both of those questions, then please explain why god created the following things.

- Over 14,000 diseases and mental disorders, and that's just in humans.
- Mosquitos that have infected 700 million people with disease in Africa alone, killing millions of them.
- Kissing bugs which have infected 16 to 18 million people with Chaga’s disease, killing 20,000 of them each year.
- Bot Flies and Mangoworms that embed their larvae into you.
- Smallpox which was responsible for an estimated 300–500 million deaths during the 20th century.
- Porphyria (AKA Vampires Disease)
- Mucocutaneous Leishmaniasis
- Necrotizing Fasciitis
- Kidney Worms
- Blood Sucking Ticks
- Leprosy
- Horrible getetic abnormalities like harlequin ichthyosis, fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, treacher-collins syndrome, crouzon syndrome and progeria.
- Naegleria Fowleria (AKA The Brain-Eating Amoeba) which gets inside your brain and causes headache, fever, nausea, vomiting, confusion, hallucinations, loss of muscle control, seizures, and eventually death.
- Animals like crocodiles, honey badgers, komodo dragons, and wolves that will rip to shreds any animal they can sink their teeth into.
If you believe god created everything, then you must admit that he created all of those things. How can a god that would create such horrendous things be thought of as benevolent?

I found the one with the ticks, to be the most disturbing. I'm sure a God fearing individual could explain any number of human diseases away as a result of, "God testing us" or "punishing the truly wicked in their time on earth", but their is nothing more innocent than an animal, and even more so a pet. Thus no reason a poor pup doing what pups do, rolling around in the grass, should face such a horrible torture. Yet a God fearing, bible reading individual, should not even have to click one of the links provided to know of God's monopoly on being what he calls good. The story of Job is a perfect example of his corruption, and lack of benevolence. Also in favor of the animals at the bottom of the list. They are innocent creatures that only want a small portion of the world and will stick to that portion if left alone. -1
