There's plenty of blame to go around for the current opioid epidemic. Big companies, big policies, and all the way down to individual doctors who acted as pushers. An interesting unintended consequence of decriminalized marijuana, is that it undercut the number 1 cash crop for drug cartels, causing them to push what they now have the competitive advantage in, heroin. OK, but it's kinda stupid to just work on #1 and ignore #2&3&4.... when the numbers of deaths are still in the thousands with any of them. We can't "ban" drugs, many of them are necessary. We don't WANT to ban guns, many of them are necessary … and they CAN even be fun. SO! We need to regulate drugs, see that those who need them, or want them for legitimate reasons, get them, those who shouldn't have them don't. As for the guns ………. Side: Ban Guns
