Don't allow things like this rent space in your head. If you live each day fully and as if that's all the time you'll ever have then it will have been a life well spent. If it happens, through whatever circumstance, then it happens...so what! It reminds us that whatever we have can be taken from us at any minute in time. So, live!

We might as well downplay the whole thing, because think of how foolish we will look if it doesn't happen.

But also think about how we could enjoy life so much more if the world did end if we just stop thinking about that and enjoy life. Let's just say it's not going to happen either way. That way, if it does, we will be happier, because there was nothing we are able to do about it, whether it does or not. And we can die worrying about it then. ;)

But seriously, we shouldn't put that much thought into it, because if the world does end, we most likely can't stop it, and we will enjoy life much more if we just live it.

Okay, I don't know who first said this, if it was the Mayans, or the Ancient Greeks, or whatever, but it's total bullshit. The world is going to end in 2063, when the comet that is predicted to hit Earth hits Earth and decimates us all. Hahaha a cheery thought. Luckily I'll be near dead then anyway, so what the hell?

So they made a calendar that lasts for what a couple hundred years and then December 2012 the world ends because a Mayan didn't go on to 2013 or further? They never said that the world was going to end so all I care about it that I will have lived long by then I'd be pushin' 60 something by the time that meteor MIGHT hit us =]

I have also heard of this idea a couple of months ago. The first time I've heard about it, I was like gee, that would be fun!! Seeing all those stars fall from heaven, earth would crack and hell would burst from down under. Perfect for movies.

Seriously though, we should not allow this kind of thoughts lingers in our mind. What can you do if the world really would end by that time? Nothing. We're all be dead and gone. What I'd like to emphasis is that you live your life productively every single day. Show the person closest to your heart how you care for them and tell how much you love them. Live each day as if it were your last and you will have no problem if the coming 2012 will really be.

No one knows when the world will end..thats just silly. It'll happen when it happens but untill then don't listen to that stuff. Seriously no one knows.

Hmmm, well, if the mayan calendar is just so accurate, does that mean the world started whenever their calendar started? Probably not. (I'm too lazy to google to give a definite "no.")

Maybe all the Mayans will be completely dead by 2012 instead. If they're not already. Again, I'm too lazy to google.

1. people thought the computers were going to crash in 2000. People thought bad things were going to happen september 11th, 2008.

2. This theory comes from the aztecs, am i correct (or some other tribe of some sort)? they all died out. So at some point, so they had to stop writing their calendar at some point. it just happened to be on 2012

3. Most people on earth's religeon isnt aztec, so you're an idiot if you think so. Dont believe everything everyone tells you.
