CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.
To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.

There are no other galaxies in outer space - theory
The theory is that all of the galaxies that we see outside of the Milky Way no longer exist. We are only seeing a snapshot of them because of the time it takes for their light to get to us.In other words, if it takes millions of light years for light to get to us, most everything we see in the night sky no longer exists.
Computer programmers use voice commands as they create commands and computer code for simulations and video games. Is that nonsensical? If it is, reality is nonsensical, which is ",nonsensical".
Virtual reality and 'physical' reality are diametrically opposed. Unless you are suggesting that we live in a simulation (e.g., the matrix), then the comparison is flawed.
It's way easier to create simulated realities than "real realities", thus probability says you are in one. And if you are in one... guess what? Intelligent design.
And with super symmetry and string theory, that may be where we are headed.
Probability cannot say anything certainly, only probably (hence probability). The statement that it is easier to create simulated realities than real realities is flawed since we have no fundamental idea as to how a 'real reality' is created.

True, which gives more power to my assessment. Anything else?
Not yet... Though we can agree about that for the farthest ones.
The local cluster, on the other hand, as an ignorant friend of ours pointed out, would never be too far from us. It will merge, and become what we call the Milkomeda.
You can always perform the calculations by yourself if you prefer.
Like creatures caught in amber that are "hundreds of millions of years old". Just forget that the Cambrian was "300 million years ago". Hmm...magic? Maybe that's our atheist answer. Yeah, yeah..
And YOU conservatives "clapped like seals" when Trump said he'd "bomb the hell out of them" to destroy ISIL .... then he found out Obama was already doing it.
NO. we liberals don't clap like seals when somebody gets bombed, usually people die that are innocent and WE don't like that. That's why Obama was as "selective as possible" when he had people bombed and I never saw HIM clap like a seal ... as Trump did when throwing red meat to his base. Ahem.....
And , by the way. In another post you said that I said, there was no Jesus .... then you did the usual "block", because, like Trump, you can't stand to hear disagreement. I NEVER said there was no Jesus. I ALWAYS said I believed there WAS. You rarely get any but "alternate facts" straight.
ISIS "manifested" in 2004. Let's see, who was President in 2004?? Libya was attacked by NATO, we just assisted with air strikes. Alternate facts again.
Nobody had heard of ISIS in 2004, thus not a manifestation. It was only in the last few years we had even heard of them. Obama himself in 2014 said, "just because someone puts on a Laker's jersey, that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant." He then labeled them as "the JV team". Then they reaked havok on the entire region with massive dealy force as an army composed on tens of thousands.
-----as Trump did when throwing red meat to his base.-----
It's true. We were foaming at the mouth to destroy Obama's creation that was beheading children, taking sex slaves and child brides, burning children and adults in fire cages, and drowning people alive in sumergance devices.
