Not only does it buy its own moneymaking regulations and tax rates, it uses that money to buy MORE politicians that make MORE moneymaking regulations and even LOWER taxes! When the vast majority of money (power) is in a small group, those that actually NEED some of it have to pay the taxes the elite get away without paying to make their environment LIVABLE! Equality?? When 26 people have more money than the rest of the world …. wouldn't you think we could use more equality?? If capitalists would live a great life, that some of them have even earned, and make the world better around them with the money they have left, we would have more equality AND a more stable world for them to enjoy! But, then there's that "greed thingy"...…. and the "ego thingy"....., and that "power thingy"...… What happened to that "Jesus thingy"?? I guess capitalists think, if it's easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle …. they'll have THEIR heaven here on Earth. Side: capitalism is the problem

What exactly do you believe economic freedom is ? Access to resources and the agency of self governance within a community framework wherein individuals co-operate to produce the optimal output using available resources. In order to self govern, individuals need to have the proper capacity for responsibility and the understanding that their choices do not exist in a vacuum thus economic freedom for the individual requires a collective understanding of how to manage resources as a community. Without this underlying context, economic freedom simply means the freedom to consume and take for yourself whatever you can get whether it be at the expense of others or not. Access to resources and the agency of self governance within a community framework wherein individuals co-operate to produce the optimal output using available resources. That’s capitalism. economic freedom for the individual requires a collective understanding of how to manage resources as a community. Economic freedom means not having the freedom to manage, or even have ones own resources? That’s not freedom. That’s totalitarianism. Without this underlying context, economic freedom simply means the freedom to consume and take for yourself Incorrect. What you describe would be theft, but the institution of individual property rights provide consequences for theft without your underlying context of community appropriation. However, the community appropriation you just described is a community taking whatever it wants from individuals, which is theft without legal recourse. Your sense of freedom is a tyranny of the majority. Mob rule isn’t freedom. Nor is it conducive to providing the most access for the most resources for the most people. Property rights, and their logical outcome of capitalism have provided that. I suppose this is where you ban me. Side: equality is the problem

As if a guy playing video games all day would get off his fat, lazy ass and take advantage of any of the above. Side: equality is the problem
There's no economic freedom when all the land and resources are already owned Then why do people who start out with nothing continue to purchase both? Because there's cheap land all over America. Most land by far isn't owned by people in the 1%. If the 1% all died tomorrow, you'd obtain no more land or resources. It would just become harder to find a decent job. Side: equality is the problem
