This substitution helps solve the 4th order equation

If we need to solve the equation (T^2-1)^2 + 4(T^2-1) + 1 = 0, then obviously the substitution

T1 = (T^2 -1)

is the way to solve it.

Because it transforms the initial equation into

T1^2+4T1+1=0

which is an easy to solve quadratic equation.

I suppose Burrito will now write an essay on how utterly, uniqequically and fundamentally incomprehensible this debate is. The essay may even get published in some journal on psychiatry as an interesting test case ------------->
