It is misandry in a box, pretending to be about equality. Third wave feminists do not want equality between the sexes; instead they want the rules to change to give women the advantage. By contrast, first wave feminists, and even some second wave feminists, just wanted women (who wanted to) to have equal access to all venues, and to play by all the same rules that men have to play by. Well, the problem with 3rd wave feminists, is that it's very hard to understand what they're really fighting for. They have no coherent goal, and are really just an extension of the 2nd wave. One of the main focuses is probably individuality, which is great. But their attempts at reclaiming derogatory terms (the "SlutWalks"), are quite dumb. Also, many of them are just trying to gain more privileges than men, which is against the whole point of gender equality. Agreed. This is probably something most people, usually fiercely competitive here, can agree on. Third wave feminism is bullshit. The movement is populated by the kind of morons who are angry that companies use sex to sell a product, but have no problem using sex to sell feminism. It's a movement of mind-bending hypocrisy. A cult, of sorts. Well, as in most aspects of life individuals and groups are always vying for dominance, which is exactly what these men haters are driving for. What started out as a reasonable crusade for equality has grown into an out of control monster with these misandrist butch bitches struggling to gain the whip hand in the Gender Competition. Emboldened by initial successes these lesibains have become more aggressive in their campaign for female supremacy but their fervour can be dampened, if nor thwarted completely with a return to a little wife beating and throwing them out into the street for a few hours. Additional measures could include, Never employ a female of childbearing age. Give a feigned, but obvious spit of disgust when walking past a pregnant woman. Never promote a woman into a position which will elevate them above men. Hey guys, let's put these bolshie women in the place, in front of the sink and polishing our shoes. Do you not think the framing of 'female struggle for equality' is inherently flawed? Women & men both have not been 'equal' to each other in various ways/areas--some of which are more favorable to one gender over the other or vice versa. I find the revisionist, extremely overly-simplistic view of male/female social dynamics throughout history often promoted as a staple of Feminism, most particularly 3rd-4th Wave, to be contemptible as well as factually inaccurate Look, I employed over 130 full time members of staff for 30 years. When your livelihood depends on being able to call a spade a spade you don't make appointments or give promotions based on some sociologist's view on gender equality. In almost all functions, including clerical positions men will outperform females every time. A gaggle of females in an office will squabble and form little cliques and place more emphasis on winning their personal arguments than promoting the company's advancement. They will take more sickies than men and be more nit-picking than men. I perceive females as being as intelligent as men but my view is not born out when I consider that almost every invention and discovery which advanced the knowledge and welfare of mankind were virtually all made by men. I like to leave THE BIG WORDS* to the academic Don Quixote romantics who never had to face the pressures of running a business in a competitive market.
