Even the Democrats pushing more gun control measures admit the new measures would not have prevented the past mass shootings!

The gun is not the problem, it is our culture! It is broken homes creating the many gangs and the many shootings by those gangs. IT'S NOT THE WEAPON OF CHOICE, it's our broken culture of promiscuous sex, selfish men abandoning the child they created and the resulting abandoned children growing up with no discipline, no role model, growing up angry, and willing to join gangs so they feel like they belong to some semblance of a family.

Addressing the break down in our culture is the only answer. Anything else is just bandaids and the problems wil keep getting worse.

In a perfect world the bad guys would not have guns, but we all know they will so we must be able to defend ourselves.

What you should be talking about is the core reasons for all the anger. I believe today's culture of promiscuous sex, one night hook ups, unwed pregnancies creating broken families, the children with no fathers at home, joining gangs for some semblance of a family, etc.

This is the cause of most violence today.

It has been proven when kids are abandoned, they many times feel anger, they feel unloved and they lash out in many destructive ways.

The gun or the weapon of choice is not the problem. It's how we were raised. This nation needs to get back to lifting up the importance of moral values and responsible lifestyles. Our children are too important not to.
