It most certainly has not but as someone who has seen this and called it out why fall into the same trap. You should take the highroad and let people call on relevant points for critique that are on topic, rather than saying well we are here to slam Trump not one of his predecessors. You are effectively doing the same thing he is but in reverse drawing the attention away from someone else (Obama) and putting the heat back on Trump

I understand the concept of sticking to the subject, but I think its fair ground for someone to bring up relevant material in order to contextualize the discussion. Bronto was simply pointing out that most all presidents (Even Chancellor Merkel) have had their fair share of public slip ups and such. Its one of the challenges of public speaking, and why in general I detest it.

The inclusion of President Obama in this debate was unnecessarily and inappropriate. You should be able to talk about a current leader without having to drag a former one in the mud. I understand and agree with your point, but in this case it is null and void.

The reference point for determining whether a president is doing a good job is not how his predecessors performed but whether he is up to the job based on objective standards. Either a president knows what he is talking about or he doesn't regardless of previous presidents.
