Trump's State of union spoke to record low Black unemployment & Dems refused to applaud!
From a Left leaning NPR fact checking report....
Black and Hispanic unemployment are at or near record lows.
The short answer
Trump's numbers are right, but it's generally a stretch for presidents to take credit for job creation.
The long answer
Trump is right that African-American unemployment hit a record low in December. The unemployment rate for black Americans is currently 6.8 percent, the lowest level recorded since the government started keeping track in January 1972.
And he's also right that the Hispanic unemployment rate is down a point over the last year — it was at 4.9 percent in December, down from 5.9 percent in December 2016. That is close to a record low, though it's also up 0.1 point from November.
But still, fact check: true on Trump's numbers."
What does it tell you when a Party refuses to celebrate good news for the working man? It tells me they only care for one group of Americans..... the ones who vote for them.
You are SOOO WRONG about this.
They do not even care about the people who vote for them.
The Democrat politicians only care about THEMSELVES.
Exactly, Democrats treat Black people in a condescending way, constanty calling them victims of others. Sending the message they are incapable of getting ID's, getting jobs, supporting themselves without Government.
The Left treats the Black community like chldren who can not fend for themselves.
You are 100% correct. It is a sign of insecurity when one refuses to admit the obvious.
For people on the Left to admit that Trump's Conservative policies are working, would be to admit that their's did not. They are too insecure to be so honest.
If the Democrat Party were willing to come to the middle, they might actually get some respect and possibly win a town councel position once more.
Failing to 'give credit where credit is due'' is the hallmark of resentful shallow minded losers.
Is that why Trump refuses to give any credit to Obama for the economy he inherited (stock market was already at record highs before the election, high consumer confidence, unemployment under 5%, recovered housing, banking, auto industry, etc.)?
Instead he claims he inherited a mess...
