Two 11 year old boys search for porn in school.

In a nutshell, two boys searched for pornography in school on the school computers, trying out one word searches on a search engine.  Eventually, they were able to access a pornographic website with a search for "lesbians" and distributed said porn to their friends.

Here's the article: http://www.upi.com/Top_News/2009/04/16/Boys-11-may-face-charges-for-school-porn/UPI-53041239901531/

What do you think about these boys?  Is it their fault? The school? The parents?

Should they be punished? How much?

Well, there would be a hell of a lot less porn if people stop making boobs and penises such perverse things and objects of sinnish pleasure.

They're just following in the footsteps of their fathers and uncles. But, whatever floats your boat... >_> <_<

they should be written up, of course. they went against school rules.

but, i don't really give a fuck. i started looking up porn when i was 12. no one to blame but nature. i was just more discreet about it.

Side: Boys will be boys...

Boys will be boys, of course, but I do hope that said boys got punished for their crude behavior, only because they were at school. I must say, I looked up a lot of porn when I was younger, between 12-13, and I think it's only natural.

I've been reading Playboy since I was 12. Which is probably why my eye sight is going bad. I remember something about going blind..... hmmmm ...... that reminds me, I need to renew my subscription ;)

Playboy is some good stuff eh? I'm not even talking about the pictures either. They got all kinds of interesting stuff, from cars, to Jokes, to celebrities, all the way back to short stories. Pretty good stories too :)

Side: Boys will be boys...

Actually I stopped reading Playboy once I figured out how to get girls. I prefer the real thing ;)

Side: Boys will be boys...

Yes, boys will be boys however, I think the school is at fault for missing the key words that would bring them to any porn site. Yes, the boys should be punished for breaking school rules but how much is not for me to say. I would venture a guess at a three day suspension or a week's worth of detention.

Porn always ended up in the hands of the younger lot one way or another. Whether it is printed or not. Kids have smart-phones now, they can view all they porn they want unsupervised. Those boys were just unlucky to get caught.

What's wrong with porn? Nothing will screw up a kid more than having nothing but his imagination and a collection of sadomasochistic erotic fiction.

Side: Boys will be boys...

Those kids are playing with fire. They're on a slippery slope. That kind of thing leads to bigger things. They're going to go blind ;)

Boys will be boys, its how they learn. aslong as they know that porn is actors being paid to scream and shot infront of a camera let them watch porn!

Side: What an outrage!

well really the corporations are exploiting male hormones, but 11 is young, I think people should avoid porn as much as possible, sex is something intimate and private, not something to be used to marvel. the processing of making porn itself is not very moral. I dislike porn because it leads to many things. If it helps you with a problem then whatever. Saying it's just instinct is a silly excuse(only in certain conditions) I can understand why you think it's not so bad. But come on, why encourage it. There are other things rather than pornography that stimulate you.

11 is young

Too young for what? I started masturbating in elementary school. I didn't even know what I was doing. But it's proof that sexual urges start young. No exploiting at all. And I think it's wrong to push down and hide what it is kids are so curious about.

It makes them want to lie to their parents more, it makes them think that sex is something that is wrong, and it makes them more self-conscious about something that's natural.

And pornography has been around for ages, it's been more public in different times than it is now, and those times flourished.

I seriously think it's wrong to hide such things because the negative effects it has, what harm does it do to be introduced to sex, and pornography, at a young age?

Side: Boys will be boys...

I knew about sex at age 11 -just never watched porn in my life. 11 is a time when hormones are unstable if you introduce porn at such an early stage then they will want more once it is a little more calm and stable then fine- And why show them? And how is there no exploitation? It makes me feel it's so irresistible when it's not once you think about how it is being made. Sometimes you get aroused only by reading.
