Unrestricted mass immigration poses a major threat to the west.
Throughout Europe and the United States immigrants, legal and illegal, are a major threat to the standard of living and pose a significant security/crime threat to the nations which they infest. Should the elected politicians not protect their respective nation's borders?

What is happening now is not unlike the mass migrations after WWII and we gained the benefits of a multi-cultural society from that episode. We need to help and welcome migrants while at the same time help their countries to become stable so for whatever reasons their people do not need to leave. Side: Immigrants present no threat

I feel that neither Europe nor the United States are any longer in a position to absorb the unqualified and unskilled immigrants from the world's failed nations. Immigrants, mainly, but not exclusively illegal, keep wages down thus denying the indigenous populations a proper ''living wage''. The swarms of immigrants have been infiltrated by criminals and terrorists and the societies in which they have settled will pay a heavy price in the standard of living and quality of life which they have so far enjoyed. These immigrants have appropriated great areas of our towns and cities and turned them into third world, crime infested ''no go zones''. The city centres of London and Paris have become crime ridden hell holes which are out of bounds for all but naive tourists and the immigrant criminal gangs. Side: Yes they are a serious threat
