Who knows?? I haven't heard anything to the contrary. After all, he was a consummate liberal. He pushed for health care, food for the poor, fought against the rich taking ALL the money, asked for charity (and didn't take any for himself)(allegedly). He was FOR education and teaching people how to fish, so they could feed themselves, etc., not DEMANDING that they feed themselves with no skills. He fought against the totalitarianism of his day, like the libs of today are doing.... From all we THINK we know there's little evidence that he was anything like OUR leader or HIS disciples. All evidence points to him being truly good, we could use another like him about now. This one wouldn't have to be a real god, either. Just a charismatic leader, as opposed to one who would LOVE to be king! :-) Side: yes

Well, what do we know? Apparently, some guy named Matthew says that a guy named Jesus said those things, and somebody else says a guy named Matthew wrote those things, and rewrote them a coupla centuries later, in another language, and a few centuries after that somebody translated THAT language into another … hoping that he was conveying the same meaning …. or thinking that he MUST have meant THIS! Who knows what was actually said … or if it WAS?? We have only a book, compiled with the ancient stories of goat herders and camel jockeys, from a bunch of partially decomposed Papyrus and chipped tablets, along with a plethora of actually unknown authors who are characters of some of the stories themselves. Hey, I'm open to Christianity … or any other religion … if something like PROOF of reality shows it to be REAL. I believe a MAN named Jesus actually lived because there are SO many of those stories, a charismatic man, apparently. If a Superman comic had been discovered a few centuries after it was written, back in the day when people were open to most gods of ANY type, HE, and his exploits may have been taken as PROOF that he was indestructible and could protect us from ANYTHING! That he was somewhere "up in the sky" just waiting to do good. Batman and Robin could have been his disciples. His "Matthew". You COULD be right, but then, Superman would be GREAT, wouldn't he??
