They have tried to do many things for the middle class but the most extreme Liberal president in our lifetimes, prevented them at every turn. Democrats care only for low income people(their voting blocks) and use the middle class as their cash cow to buy these low income votes. You will see with a friendly president, they will get their middle class policies passed. 1
