Sometimes for the students, sometimes for the teachers. What we REALLY need is a change of attitude in this country opposite that of our fake President. I don't know the numbers, but, I would say there are more teachers threatened through a year than students! For one thing, teachers have law suites hanging over their heads if they even use stern language on an unruly student! I have two teachers in the family and the abuse THEY take once in a while is ridiculous! Side: We do need safe spaces

sometimes a teacher's classroom is where we feel the most safe.. not all teachers are rude either. im not a student who gets particularly close or friendly with teachers and i think it's 100% not needed to have a "safe space" from teachers. we have lunch among other things so Side: We don't need em
school, and especially college is were you challenge others ideas with rational debates, such as we do (most of the time)on this website.
