Well, you should surely be able to go to w/e University you want. But, if your parents are paying for it, they do have a say. Now, if the issue is keeping you home (and not money), I find it stupid. when going to college, it's important for teens to get away. Staying home will limit themselves. Going away results in self-discovery. The only alternative would be to join a sorority (if you stay home) or see a psychologist. I recommend getting away. Join a sorority, if you want, anyway. But living by yourself and making new friends (who will accept you for who you want to be, and not who you thought you should be) will definitely help you open your mind to things you didn't find possible. Also, take acid at least once... do it with people who have done it before and know what they're doing. Well, only do it if you want to and feel that you're ready. I don't want to be a bad influence over the internet... but really, shit is insane. Side: Yes :)

If one wants to be treated as an adult then they first need to act as such. Enjoy the young age, once you become an adult there are bills to pay and many other responsibilities you don't have now. Just wait till you have all those responsibilities you will be running back to mom and dad and apologizing for treating you like a child Side: No:(

No, I assume you're not an adult so you shouldn't be treated like one. You wouldn't expect an adult to be treated like a child by their children. Enjoy being a child/teenager (whatever you are) while you can. It goes fast and one day you'll wonder why you wished it away! Side: No:(
