I would agree (to an extent). But guess what. Baptists are descended from Protestants, and you seem to think Protestantism is interchangeable for Christian. And since you refuse to recognize splits along denominations (after all Christians only existed after some mysterious schism in the 16th century when Christianity blossomed fully formed from the noggin of Martin Luther), then that should make Baptists (including the Westborow Baptist Church) Christians. Oh me, oh my, Christian terrorists! Who'd'a thunk it? Side: Yes

They have desecrated many American venerated objects, compulsively protested at the funerals of lost veterans with their "God hates fags" rhetoric, and openly professed to be enemies of the US. If these aren't signs that someone doesn't belong in the US, I don't know what is. Side: yes
Yes! I actually just watched that Fox News segment with that chick on it. She is one crazy son of a b*tch! The fact that the church is made up mostly of her family and that no other baptist church affiliates themselves with them just adds to the fact that they are crazy! They support such an extremist view that I am surprised that anyone could fight for their protection. The fact that they "Thank God for dead soldiers" is horrifying and insulting. Their children are going to grow up in a life that will always be dedicated to that church unless they (somehow) grow a mind of their own. I mean, when one of them dies, do they thank god that [they] died? Do they rejoice? I don't get it. They should be banned from protesting within a mile of any funeral, or far enough away that their protests could not be seen or heard. As for deporting, I can't see any other country wanting them there. Side: Yes if it were possible

According to what standard which itself upholds the philosophy and tradition which defines America? You can not deport people because the majority of other people vehemently disagree with their legally allowable actions, beliefs, culture etc. If you can you might as well throw out any minority group that has had a large part of society strongly dislike them, like monarchists, abolitionists, Suffragists, feminists, racists, atheists, socialists, anarchists, polygamists, Muslims, etc. Side: No

I"ll have to side with Voltaire on this one. Simply put, I may not agree with what you have to say( in this case I despise what wbc is saying) but I must defend their right to say it. It isn't a case of COULD they say these things, but rather SHOULD they, (obviously they should not) out of respect for the service and sacrifice of the soldier and his or her family. My advice to ANYONE affected by the rantings of this heretical cult is to furnish them with an ample measure of tar and feathers, followed rapidly by the administering of an old fashioned ass whipping, courtesy of the mourners and or volunteers . Then sent out of town with dogs at their heels. One dose of this particular prescription should be PLENTY to cure them of their desire for publicity at the expense of our fallen, and should teach them the lesson that just because you COULD say something terrible, doesn't mean that you SHOULD do so without risking the consequences listed above.
