In my experience beauty is very attractive for a while, but you quickly start taking it for granted. When the appreciation of the beauty fades, there had better be something else to hold your attention, or it will fade as well. A true partner and companion is much more fulfilling than just a beauty for you to look at. Side: Intelligence
Yes while having a beautiful partner is nice, but you shouldn't like or love or even have lust for them if its just for their looks. Even though most people that just like, love or have lust for someone its all because of their looks. There is m ore to a person than just their looks and with me intelligence rules over beauty. I'm not saying that intelligence is only thing you should go for in a partner or anything like that, there is a lot of things to like or love about a person for them to be your partner, but beauty shouldn't be one of them. Yes most people are attracted to someones looks and almost every animal is like this as well. But you shouldn't just like, love or have lust for them just on their looks. Side: Intelligence

There is no doubt that there is some animal attraction to the people who become our partners, what that is, is individual to each and every one of us. However, this is just a part of becoming partners. Our partner is our best friend and lover, the one person we trust above all others, and their beauty lies beneath in someone who is honest, faithful, intelligent, deserving of respect and is good company, to name but just a few of their attributes. My wife of 36 years fits all of these and more. Side: Beauty
