How Should Countries React To Ebola?

Ebola has currently infected over 2,000 people so far and recent projections showing up to 100,000 people could be dead by the time it is over. Projections of the death total seem to be going up every day and the UN is hoping that it will take 6-9 months and 600 million dollars to clean up the mess. This has already passed all pervious outbreaks combined and there are reports that it has already undergone rapid mutation and evolution in the genome.

For the reasons I have gave above (and other less scientific reasons) some have suggested to completely shut down flights coming out of western Africa. This has been criticized for some saying it will hurt the economy. How do you think they should react to this developing medical crisis?

Countries should take Ebola seriously but understand how serious the contamination is before rendering harsh stipulations.
