There was this book I read awhile back that had an inte;resting theory. That the afterlife is the same as Earth, except you age backwards, and then once you are a baby again you are reborn on Earth and repeat. Or, another one I've heard, the "light" you see is actually you exiting your new mothers womb and you just start over like that. I like the first one I said personally. It's like living two lives, and you'll age backwards so you can do the things you didn't get to do the first time around. Side: Things I've heard

This one's from Papua New Guinea, if I'm not mistaken: There is this cacodaemoniacal figure who lives below a cliff. At the edge of the cliff there are trees, to which cling the spirits of those not honorably slain in battle. Once the weight of the spirits becomes too great, the tree falls, and this demon catches most of them in her net. She then brews them, and uses their skulls as drinking cups, to feed her family. I think that electro-chemical activity in the brain ceases and the emergent construct we call our mind dissipates to nothingness. In a way you never die because you never experience death. infinite non being, a non-state because it is devoid of all relationality Side: What I think
