The single greatest mystery, so far as I am concerned, is why the universe is comprehensible at all. That is, why do things appear to work in such a way that mathematics and language are capable of describing them at all, let alone to the great degree of accuracy which has been achieved?

It seems that answers to this question invariably collapse to anthropic principles of one form or another, but this always seems like a cop-out to me. Yes, there must be structure and form in order for there to be people who can ask about that structure and form, but that's essentially just a tautology which doesn't address the why behind the question.

My theory is that we were visited by extra terrestrials who have helped advance human knowledge in the past. We need them to come back and help us out again ;)

I wonder about the oceans.

About giant squid and sharks. There is an amazing amount that we don't know about the oceans, the mysterious deep.

Ghosts and all the weird things that occur to make people thing there's a ghost around them. I don't fully believe in ghosts, but I don't fully disbelieve their existence and powers either. I think I saw one when I was about 5 years old, emphasize the word 'think'. But I when I watch all that stuff on TV and all, it starts seeming slightly absurd. As in, a lot of theories and info being said relating to "ghosts" is probably a lie or a sort to keep people's attention, and it's annoying. Lying about something we hardly understand isn't going to help us develop a better theory or answer regarding ghosts. Just my opinion. Perhaps we should all tell true ghost stories we've encountered? I'll tell my story if anyone is interested. :-)

wat about heaven and hell r they there or are they not? a question humans will never find out the afterlife cant tell us and you cant find out unless u r dead but hey.. if u believe they are there but if u think they dont exist well thats fine too but we will never no.
