George Washington University may be known as a political school, but can you imagine the parties that took place after Obama was elected? There is no place better to get into the official candidate parties, at all levels of government. Where else can you enjoy the keg next to a senator? Yeah, I think George Washington University, because is a very politicized school have another kind of parties and, for me those are the parties that materrs, not just drink, having dancing and all that stuff. For that I prefer to go to my restricted lot of friends to other sites where we can be more confortable to have "innapropriate behaviours". 2

Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana is at least one of the biggest party schools IMHO. No, I didn't go there. I went to Purdue. We partied a lot at Purdue, but somehow academics has to ultimately shine forth because the curriculum is so extremely difficult. Ball State is not much more than a high school. I knew several kids that went there and I'd visit on weekends. Classwork was a definite afterthought. Sex, drugs, and rock n roll overcame any other goals. Acid, coke was so easy to obtain. Look at the quality of the curriculum. If a college is nothing more than a glorified high school, especially focusing on liberal arts, it may just rise to the top of a list of the biggest party schools. As a Ball State student, I might mention that we have world class programs... It may not be in hard sciences like Engineering, but we do excel in at least Architecture, Theatre, and Telecommunications, putting in hundreds of hours outside of the classroom. That's why we "Ball So Hard" and party like none other. We spend all of the rest of our time working on projects that immerse us in our crafts. What spare time we do have we spend getting shitfaced at the bars in the Village or at some random house party, dancing drunk in the basement. I think what makes a good party school is a student body committed to getting drunk because our lives suck and, really, there's not much else to do in Muncie. Side: Ball State college party school

If you wanna know about how to party, it's not too far down the road from you in Athens, Ohio. Where the LeBomb James, Baseball (beer pong variation), and Cornhole (beer pong variation) was invented. Which was quoted by playboy when talking about Ohio University "It's not fair to compare amatuers with professionals". That's right, playboy called Ohio University students. The halloween in Athens doubles the student population at least. Furthermore, they have to close off the street and you can drink in the street. Also there's many fests there, most notably Palmerfest and Sixfest (this year). Sixfest, is where everyone buys tickets and drinks in a field. They are consistantly in the top ten year in and year out. Plus, there's tons of bars within 2 streets- go to everyone in one night and we call it the Court Street Shuffle. Do you honestly belive you guys can even compete? This isn't even a contest. Side: Ohio University
Go Dukes! JMU dominates. Although some tools at JMU have come out with the most ridiculous ideas of how to dispel JMU's party school reputation. Check out the link.

I used to live and work in Morgantown and yes ... WVU IS a big party school. Considering WVU is located in the middle of nowhere (it's at least a 90-minute drive to Pittsburgh, the nearest big city), there's nothing else to do there EXCEPT PARTY. The big activity/entertainment when I lived there was burning sofas on the streets of the Sunnyside area and Fraternity Row. And when the football team won -- look out. It was party city .... for days! Go Mountaineers! You know how to party hearty! Side: WVU

JMU may dominate Northern VA..however Ohio University, by far, wins this debate. According to the Princeton Review OU ranks in the following categories: #17 Their Students (Almost) Never Study Academics, #12 Lots of Beer Parties, #15 Lots of Hard Liquor Parties , #9 Party Schools, Also, ranking #1 in Maxim magazine a few years back as the number one party school. I realize that this does not bane well for an argument on my intelligence level for having graduated from this fine institution...but....

Yeah that might win the school with most people thrown in jail, but I don't consider that a party. If you wanna know about how to party, it's not too far down the road from you in Athens, Ohio.
