As part of our marketing plan, we hope to get coverage on some of the popular tech rags such as TechCrunch, ValleyWag, Mashable, Ally Insider, etc.

In order to get picked up by these sites we would like to create debates that they would be interested in and then include those in the press release.

We want to leverage the CreateDebate community to see what ideas you have for what debates would be popular. An example of one we think would be popular for TechCrunch is "Who's hotter: Julia Allison or Megan Asha?"

What ideas do you have?

That's hilarious. They all jock that girl Julia Allison and her stupid lip syncing videos on Vimeo. What the heck is the big deal about her anyways?

who is the better techno-blog entrepreneur Michael Arrington or Kevin Rose?

I think Arrington likes to see his name on the web...

Michael Arrington vs. Jason Calacanis is classic debate. Those guys are bitter rivals.

I bet that Silicon Alley Insider would be interested to know that you guys are based in Washington DC. Since most tech startups are in Silicon Valley these days maybe something like, "Can Tech Startups Survive Outside of Silicon Valley" might get their attention.

Maybe a debate about the new Facebook chat feature, since it's so new and I'm sure the internet community is wondering what the general consensus is about the product.

Will open source software/ethos ever displace Microsoft's dominance in the American education sector and how and by whom will it be championed?

Anything involving the RIAA, and/or the MPAA and their crusade against bittorrent.

This is an issue close to the heart of the Digg, TechDirt, TechCrunch and Slashdot communities, which all have very strong opinions on Intellectual Property laws and the manner in which the two ...AA's interpret them. Where those communities go, others follow.

After all, one of the biggest Digg memes right now is "FK the RiAA".
