Uh neither probably? A true atheist understands that death isn't anything. Like zero isn't a number or black isn't a color. I suppose a bitter atheist may say "goodbye cruel world," but your image is misleading and most are no more or less bitter than someone who thinks they are going to hang out on clouds or whatever. Nothing wrong with dieing in bed just depends on whose bed, as long as its not a hospital bed and its next to the woman I love (if shes not available I hope it would be next to some hot chick and if shes a hot nurse I might even rethink the not dieing in a hospital bed!!) that this is the end. However, when they die and meet God and He gives them one last chance to accept Him and Jesus and have eternal happiness; 99.99% will pick the elevator going down. Since they didnt want anything to do with God when they were alive they sure as hell don't want anything to do with Him when they are dead! But I suppose there may be one or two that would accept and enjoy eternity with God. Side: Okay goodbye cruel world

I am saying this as a man who belives in God. If I didn't think of this I would see death as a blackout. Power is instantly shut down, the Tv, lights, everything suddenly turns off. You sit there for a seccond or two in this dark void of siclence. If i didn't belive in the afterlife then i would think of this. I have played devil's advocate and listened to other point of views. I would belive that death is a void of the mind, just a void of thought. Side: Okay goodbye cruel world
