What if you were forced to be gay in the future?
Just imagine you were forced to be gay and used other ways to get children.

That isn't the debate topic, though. It's not about irrational, paranoid anti-gay fear... it's merely creating a hypothetical. Your job is to answer it truthfully... not bring up other topics. In a court of law, you would be silenced (as the moderator of the debate seems to have done). Side: I wouldn't resist
I would resist if someone had forced me to be gay because no one has the right to force me to do something i am not comfortable with in as much as no one can stop me from being gay if i had wanted to be. My decision should be based on my own freedom of choice and not based on the fear that others have casted in my mind. Side: I would resist

If we're living in a Democracy, still, I would resist with Civil Disobedience. Likely, though, if we were truly being forced to be gay, it would be a totalitarian regime. Sure, I would resist in the underground sense, but I would give in in the legal sense. Same thing for drug laws. I'm not going around getting arrested for flaunting my support for the use of narcotics... but that doesn't stop me from engaging in acts that some may consider illegal. Will John Law ever find out? Hope not. Which is why my external answer is "i wouldn't resist" but my true answer is "i would resist". Side: I wouldn't resist

the real question is, however, how do you force someone to like something? Once you enjoy it, you enjoy it. If you magically make me gay, I wouldnt mind being gay (especially in a world where being gay was the norm, not a persecuted minority) In the real world, however, I enjoy being straight- solely because I am straight. Side: I wouldn't resist
How do you "force" someone to be gay? You can force someone to have sex with another person of the same sex, or you can have that person rape them. But that's not being gay. Gay isn't just about the act of having sex with someone the same sex as you. Gay means you naturally prefer to have sex with people of the same sex as you, and preferences aren't something you can force onto people. Short of psychologically manipulating me into actually becoming gay (which renders moot the question of whether or not I would resist), you can't make me gay. You can only make me pretend to be gay. Side: Are you serious
