Good is whatever God says is Good. Morality is the system of Good/Evil as defined by God and adhered to by Sapient creatures. Ethics is a system of "good" vs "bad" as felt by humans, usually voted upon and defined by those who carry the largest stick and sometimes followed by those who submit to their power. These two (Morality vs. Ethics) should never be equated, but most often are. 1

Your argument is invalid and you will continue to be debunked. You are hereby charged with hypocrisy and Christophobic intentions. Cry me a river and get over it. Christians are not mindless. They are taught to be loving and merciful. Do robots have mercy? Seems not in all the terminator films. You are no doubt a troll, "Hitler'smom", thinking you can betray your own race by dehumanzing people to mere robots just for believing in God. Good is whatever God says is Good. This sentence doesn't even make rational sense. There is no evidence anybody has ever spoken to any god. If someone says they've spoken to God, then how do you know they are telling the truth? You are just going to take their word for it? You are going to follow the instructions of a human on the grounds that they claim to be speaking for a giant omnipotent sky fairy who will strike you down if you don't obey? Come on. The first sentence is just as rational as 0+1=1. Are you a fan of logic? if not, what is your rationale? There is evidence that someone spoke to God. Have you read any religious accounts/texts? The way we know they are telling the Truth is to witness their claims and corroborate them. The Bible, and most certainly the New Testament, accomplished this. We eventually have to take some people for their word (aka Faith) otherwise, you couldn't even have Science... ;) But i do agree that we should have some sort of standard of: who or when we take the words. I will follow their instructions once they have qualified for certain criteria. Just claiming to be speaking for a giant omnipotent sky fairy is insufficient. That would be silly. |
