Like a support group for abused debaters, I see a pattern over and over again, of genuine discourse being thrown off course by mentally defunct individuals. These proverbial turds in the punch bowl, as far as I can tell have a specific MO. 1. Research nothing. 2. Make sure to call intelligent debaters, idiot, crap stain and skid mark, this will inflate ego and is great fun. 3. Don’t pay attention to the argument, pay attention to the connotations of words, and be sure to focus on that. 4. Make invalid arguments, and stick by them, it’s not your fault they are too skid mark to understand your grand scheme. 5. Act like you are right, all the time, and make sure everyone knows you are, even when you can’t be, inconsistency will throw them off track. 6. Be a complete and utter douche, make sure to ban people that are starting to make too much sence, thinking is the worst.
