I bought three boxes this weekend (Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos & Tagalongs). After trying all of them I must say that the Tagalongs were the best. Here are my findings... Thin Mints: Although these are the common favorite, they don't compare to their delicious cousin, The Grasshopper. Do-Si-Dos: These are filled with the great taste of Peanut Butter, but they are dryer than the Arizona desert in July. If you don't accompany these cookies with a glass of milk, you are in for a world of hurt. Tagalongs: These delectable little treats combine Peanut Butter and Chocolate with a tasty cookie crunch. These are the best of the three by far. Here is a description direct from the website. "Tagalongs or Peanut Butter Patties: These are round cookies with a layer of peanut butter on top, and covered in chocolate. These cookies come in a red box. Little Brownie Bakers calls them Tagalongs" For more information visit: http://www.girlscoutcookies.org/

I love tagalongs. I usually buy more Thin Mints than any other kind of cookie because those tend to be the favorite if I bring them to my office. However, the peanut butter and chocolate is a much more decadent combination than mint and chocolate. Still, my toss-up would be between Tagalongs and Samoas for the best. The only problem with Samoas is that the caramel and coconut get stuck in your teeth.

Samoas, and here's why: Girl Scout cookies are a once a year treat. As spoken of above, the thin mint is a lesser version of the grasshopper that you can get all year round. The Tagalong, though second in my book is oh so similar yet lacking in comparison to any and all reeses products. This leaves the Samoa coming through as the once a year perfection of heavenly flavors
