What is the most useful Language besides English?

Depends. I find Latin to be very useful, but that's because I've been known to spend my days reading ancient Latin texts, and so knowledge of Latin, in such a case, is extremely important. Most people, people who don't waste their lives reading ancient documents, would probably find more use in a language such as German, Spanish or French. I disagree with Chinese (any variety) being of most usefulness simply for purposes of difficulty; you don't get the same bang for your buck with Mandarin as you do with the other most common European languages, at least if English is your first language. 341 days ago | Side: What is the most useful Language besides English?
