Every year at North Lake College some students get excited about Keep Irving Beautiful week. The whole idea of the event is to recruit volunteers to pick up trash, and to allow people to bring their papers, electronics, plastics to recycle. What is your opinion on Keep American beautiful projects? In my opinion, I don't think the project appeal to many people. There are people who are excited to volunteers and there are people who are not thrill. Maybe a leader will step in and make the project even bigger because everyone needs to take care of their environment

I think it's a good idea, no doubt, but it needs more attention. I think they also work a lot with state parks, is that right? You pay a fee if you're camping and they set up restrictions on what can and cannot be brought to sites...

Beautification is always a good idea, especially in certain places. Perhaps though, they should inspire people to do more than just pick up trash. Like, art exhibitions about environmental concerns and things like that just to get people looking and to get people interested.

I'm not sure what the question is, really, but that's my opinion.

i think its a great community project, every state should take ideas from it and try to implement these types of projects.

An excellent way to volunteer and keep our cities free of trash!
