What is your opinion on Psychedelics?

Alright two things:

1. This is not a legalization debate.

2. This isn't strictly about the substance (although feel free to talk them) topics such as what music, art, cultures, people, styles, ect these substances have influenced are up for debate.

I never really got into the whole Psychedelic drug side of things this was mainly because most of my mates were of the attitude that I did'nt need them!! I have tried Mushrooms but they never really did anything for me.

I love the whole Psychedelic music scene I have seen Hawkwind loads and even managed to see them supporting Motorhead and Lemmy joined them for Silver Machine and Motorhead which was awesome, I also love Jefferson Airplanes White Rabbit

Just about the drugs and not whether they should be legal?

Personally I have a control problem :p Drugs that make me feel I don't have control aren't fun for me.

My general opinion about psychodelics is they're fine for most people, even helpful for some, as mentioned by others.

Now, if this were about legality I'd say something like the chances of a bad reaction aren't much worse than the chances of a bad reaction to any prescribed medication, making it legal would decrease the likelihood of getting bad batches while also taking massive amounts of money out of the hands of criminals and creating a huge source of revenue for local, state, and the federal government, and meanwhile it's less addictive than alcohol or tobacco. So illegality of this particular drug set is pretty senseless.

I know what you mean by control, most of the times its nice, but sometimes you get those tidy monster moments

I think you have your drugs mixed up, first off, have you ever taken any Psychedelic, as someone who has take mushrooms and LSD I'll have you know that its not a "life changing experience" where the walls melt into rainbows for the rest of your life. As for them ruining lives (which is very rare) your saying that if someone is doing something you think is bad in their lives they should receive a "strict punishments for whoever carries them." Now who does this sound like... Oh yeah, Mao Zedong's drug policy, sounds a little like that.

Now do you have anything to discuss besides something that wasn't supposed to be part of the debate?

What do you expect from a sap who uses the confederate flag as his picture?
