Challenge Debate: What makes someone "normal"?
We are going to debate on what makes a person normal, or standardized, also, what should we do about the people who refuse to accept our way of living?

I can see your view, and agree partially. But, I think it is possible for there to be a normal, as long as it's not your bias or a few people's biases. (That's the plural of bias, right?) However, I don't think there SHOULD be a normal, apart from medical states or things to do with mental/physical health. To be normal means to be average, correct? I think that, on a mathematical point of view (here it means like height or weight or things to do with numerals), averaging something is easy to do. But on a much deeper scale, personality wise, I think it'd be much harder. You'd have to collect data on what most people did. And if, say for example, wearing a ripped shirt, is what most people did, I think that would be considered normal because it outranks the ones who do not wear a ripped shirt. But personality wise, not clothes, not height, it is impossible, there are simply too many factors. Haaza? Side: We shall debate on this.

(Yes, the plural of "bias" is biases) There isn't a specific thing or object or idea of what is Normal But rather what is of the norm as I was saying. And yes, normal is the average over view of something. There is no "normal person" or "normal behavior" in the phrases itself.. But rather an idea. Ideas can vary due to how they are looked at, or put into a certain situation. So yes, haazaa! Side: We shall debate on this.

Haazaa! So, we both agree that to get the normal of a group of varied people is close to nearly impossible? And that normal is a thing to judge people, even if the judge is none the wiser about exactly how you think and act in a regular way? Once more, haazah! Side: We shall debate on this.

Well no it isn't nearly impossible.. (You just have to fit with that one particular group) Like I said it will depend greatly on what the norm is. Different groups of people can change what the norm is. There is no "normal" normal is only what the majority does in that particular group. And since there are many groups of people in the world there is no actual meaning of what normal is like. (Therefore allowing the norm/normal to vary greatly!) Haazaa indeed. Side: We shall debate on this.

There is not a something that makes someone "normal".. But in order to clarify whether or not someone is "normal" they would have to be of the norm. The word Normal means (Adjective) 1. conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected. (Noun) 1. the usual, average, or typical state or condition. -- So in order to decide whether or not someone is normal they would have to be of the norm. The norm is what is on a regular bases. The definition of norm is (Noun) 1. something that is usual, typical, or standard. So what ever is typical or usual that the humans do would be the normal There is no what IS normal. It can vary greatly what is of the "normal" What is of the norm and what is normal varies greatly as well. Due to what ever is done on the regular basis can be used in that situation of their specialized definition of "normal". For some people the "normal" would be quiet, calm, and very formal. For other societies the normal, or norm someone would be loud, crazy, and very wild. Side: Indeed we shall.
