There are so many religions to chose from. This means that it's best to know who you are and pick a religion that follows your beliefs. My friend Judy couldn't find a religion that closely resembled her beliefs so she started her own religion, Judyism ;) So now I follow joe cavalryism; it's a way of life ;)
The belief that Oreos created everything. Even man. And decided to supply life to everything and if somebody tells you Oreos were created by men they lie.
Although I am a Dudeist Priest and like the teachings of Dudeism ie going with the flow etc, I don't follow any religion in particular I'm interested in a lot of Eastern religions like Taoism (on which Dudeism is based) and Buddhism but I also have an interest in Shamanism but I have an interest in all religions and enjoy finding out about other peoples beliefs. I believe in being open minded about religion as the more we understand other peoples beliefs the easier it will be to understand the people and hopefully live together in peace one day.
You can get shirts with Dudeist Priest that looks like the Judas Priest writing which is pretty awesome, I'm thinking of getting a letter of authority so I can abide at wedding ceremonies and stuff which would be pretty awesome. I wonder if I can get any tax breaks due to my priestly status!!
I'm glad you asked. Well I'm a christian. The reason for that is because almost 95% of the bible was proven true not only that I've seen miracles and things that if I told someone what happened they would never believe me.
Before I provide you some proof let me ask you this! Are you saying jesus never existed? or anyone in the bible never existed when a lot of the people from the bible are in my history book? Please explain that!
I was once like you, then I READ THE BIBLE; AND LEARNED SCIENCE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ACTUALLY DEBATED
Noah's ark alone defies so many laws of the universe, that actual magic is more possible, most important though is the fact that the Bible is so twisted serial killers could give better moral advice.
I must say your pretty intelligent for someone whose 13 however debating about religion really isn't my thing because there's no point your gonna get your point across anyone.
Catholic. I was born into it. My parents weren't very avid Church goers but my grand parents were and they taught me all about god and the Catholic Church and the more I learned the more I wanted to go to Church and learn more.
and soon my parents started taking me and I got more and more involved in my church I helped with good works projects, taught the Children (at both CCD and bible camp) I was an alter boy (no before you ask nothing ever happened to me) but since I moved to Colorado I've had a hard time locating a Catholic Church nearby so I haven't been very active religiously as of late. But I'm still faithful and I'm still a follower of Jesus Christ.
Islam. I was previously a Theravada Buddhist monk. I became a Muslim about 1 - 2 years after a left the temple. The teachings of Islam are almost identical to those of Theravada Buddhism; but much more pragmatic.
I am a Buddhist (Atheistic) because I can find answers for myself through it, instead of just believing something as if its a concrete thing with no evidence for it. Its teachings make a whole lot of sense to me and I can see evidence for them in my daily life also Meditation has helped me a lot.
I am a Christian and it rocks as I know I am going to heaven to meet my beloved Daddy god. I have been blessed and many great things have happened to me because of Jesus. Those who are not Christians should start believing as your life will be changed. Come to church and receive of his goodness
I am a Christian and the reason why I choose it was because of the evidence that supports Christianity and that when I die I have hope that I will go to heaven.
That's not what John said in the book of Revelations where He explained that Heaven had streets of gold and people with the new heavenly bodies. He also was a witness of heaven.
The difference between the Bible and Hogwarts is that there are places, people, and things related to the Bible that they have found to be true. Example: Israel, Eygpt, and time of Nebuchadnezzar. Where is the proof that there was an actual person named Harry Potter and a place called Hogwarts in real life? Archaeologists won't find hogwarts but they found lots of things related to the Bible.
Hogwarts is an example. A better example is a book like Huck finn or To kill a Mockingbird or Othello. They has some real nature to it. Same thing the bible does.
No once again you didn't understand. Did archaeologists prove that hogwarts was real? No they didn't. Archaeologists did find places that were stated in the Bible. They will never find proof that there is a place called hogwarts and harry potter because its a fairy tale unlike the Bible where you have secular sources and Christian sources to back it up.
Eclectic wicca, but my religion is just researching other religions, really. I follow some teachings from ones I like and use them to develop my hypothesis.
I was Reform Jewish by birth. However, i converted to Secular Judaism (believe in Jewish values, don't believe in god) by choice and through re-evaluation.
No no Christian means follower of Christ. He's only a Christian if he excepts Jesus Christ into his heart and life and proclaims him as his lord and savior. If he worships satan then he's a satanist.
You are such an idiot and you know nothing about religion. You are retarded if you think that Satanists are Christians. Christians worship the Christ, and Satanists worship Satan.
You are wrong if you think that Satanists are Christians. You have reached a whole new level of stupid. Wow Not an argument, please answer my previous question
