Surely you can hold all weapons I your hand?? Anyway I would use a machete because it's a lot quieter than a gun so I wouldn't attract any more to my location.

Melee weapons will splatter the zombie blood which will infect you.

Guns and explosives will reveal your location

Flamethrowers will cause massive friendly fire

It is best to stick with a Riot Shield. And you should rely more on speed and versatility.

The answer is obviously a Hulk.

I would have to go with a battle axe since it's good a lopping off heads and quiet.

Shaolin spade, will help keep a distance between you and the zombie, but allow the removal of the head via severing the neck, if you have to get close:

Trench spike, these were designed to penetrate a helmet, they would make close quarter skull penetration a lot easier than a knife.

A combination weapon between the two would be advantageous though.

A katana. The one i have is sorta longer than others so I can get a good distance from them. Also it is quiet. And I love slashing zombies.

Zombies are fundamentally crap, all you need is a tower and an infinite supply of ammo and you can take on any size of horde... Therefore in order for the zombie apocalypse to happen we have to assume that, as centifolia rightly points out, any tissue is highly infectious, so I'm going to go with flame thrower for the elimination / sterilisation double whammy, alternatively a simple rifle. The AK47 is famously robust (and has single shot mode for ammo conservation).

I would most likely be seen with an M249 SAW, which doesn't need to much experience to operate. And the Ammo isn't rare at all. I would also be holding an AK-74u, a light, powerful Sub-Machine-Gun, also known as, SMG.
